Eligibility and Application Process For 2009-2010, the Genentech ITGR group will select three to five qualified Clinical Research Fellows through a competitive application process. Each selected Fellow will be based in Genentech's South San Francisco headquarters office.

Eligibility Criteria

• The Fellowship is open to third- and fourth-year Fellows in major academic institutions in the United States.
• Exceptional senior residents might also be considered as Fellowship candidates.
• Fellows and their academic institutions must agree to uphold Genentech confidentiality and intellectual property contracts.
• Fellows must be able to work in Genentech’s South San Francisco headquarters.

Application Process

• Fellowship applications will be accepted through March 31, 2009, for the 2009-2010 program/academic year. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications received after the deadline will be held for consideration for the following year’s program.
• The program will start in July 2009 on a date mutually determined by Genentech and the selected Fellows.
• All non-selected applicants are eligible to re-apply in subsequent years in accordance with eligibility criteria.
